The EMT level is a one-semester course. Upon completion of these courses, students will be eligible to sit for the NREMT examination and apply for a State of Alabama EMT license, which is required for Advanced EMT and Paramedic Clinicals. 

Enrollment Requirements:

• 18 years old
• Valid drivers license
• High school diploma or GED
• Submit to random drug testing
• Current Basic Life Support CPR (CPR card)

 Advanced EMT training consists of one semester of training. Students who complete the Advanced EMT course will be eligible to sit for the Advanced EMT (NREMT) examination qualifying them to apply for a State of Alabama Advanced EMT License, which is required for Paramedic clinicals.

Enrollment requirements:

• 18 years old by the end of course completion
• Valid driver’s license
• High school diploma or G.E.D.
• Complete a background check
• Complete a drug screening
• Current Basic Life Support CPR (CPR card)
• Completed  EMT or AEMT course – currently licensed if applying for AEMT

The academy currently certifies in a 4 hour hybrid course for Stop The Bleed, BLS first aid, and CPR. This course is fantastic for: Churches, Schools, Little League sports, and first responders.
